Review of the General Assembly of the CFFS

During the weekend, the CFFS organized the General Assembly for the 2010/2011 season.

During the weekend, the CFFS invites leaders of clubs in France to come to the General Assembly held in the large park CREPS a few miles from Paris.

Present : Argenteuil, Arras, Bordeaux, Grenoble, Poirée sur vie, Lyon, Marseille, Massy, Metz, Montpellier, Nancy, Nantes, Nice, Paris, Poitiers, Reims, Rennes, Ronchin, Toulouse, Versailles, Villeurbanne, Vitrolles, Vitry.

Not present : Albi, Avignon, Orléans, Valenciennes.

Clubs do not participate in next season : Albi, Avignon, Marseille, Nice, Nimes, Orléans, Valenciennes.

Regional Committees presented: Brittany, Pays de Loire, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Ile-de-France, Rhone-Alpes, East PACA.

On Friday, June 18, the clubs arrived around 18h to CREPS. Leaders are guided by the federal respective to their room. Dinner was organized by CREPS. And finally, after dinner, Jean MINIER, National Technical Director of the French Federation Wheelchair, came personally to give the speech to explain the overall balance of the 2009/2010 season and especially to discuss the suspension of France by the ICSD/EDSO.

In the evening, the leaders were free.

On Saturday, June 19th, the General Assembly was open all day from 9am to 17h. First, the morning, the CFFS gives the balances of each section (director, secretary, discipline, financial, competition commissioner, webmaster, coach of the France team ...). Then in the afternoon, the Secretary has made changes to the regulations point of CFFS for competitions next season. The CFFS decided to appoint:
Best Fair-play of the season: ASLS Nancy
Best player of the season: HADJIDJ Slimane (USS Argenteuil)

Then, the club managers have discussions with the federal how to organize the championship of France by region. It was long and difficult decision because of financial reasons. They are finished by adopting the joint agreement :

In the evening, the leaders are free to go talk to the bar.

Sunday morning after breakfast, all officers are gone before 10am.
