Argenteuil, New Champion!

For the first time of the history of clubs, Sportsman union of the Deaf persons d' Argenteuil, the Argenteuillais returned the cup of the French championship.

On Friday, June 5th evening : 7 clubs on 8 were present to follow the drawing lots in a big gymnasium not far from the sports complex. Talk about welcome by the organizer Franck CHETRIT who had to juggle between 2 sportive events, football and badminton. Speech and briefing of the DTF Brice ALLAIN followed by the edition in a very good atmosphere.

On Saturday, June 6th : the competitions took place in time in spite of gloomy and very rainy time. 3 grounds were at our disposal of which a ground of honor. The president of the FFH Gérard MASSON accompanied with the president of the regional FFH Dominique NADALIE were present a good part of the day. They were able to appreciated the high level of several players. The day ended with a banquet organized by the club of Bordeaux in the gymnasium. All the dinner guests had been entitled to an excellent at will served paella.

On Sunday, June 7th : contests of classification before finale feminine taken gained by the new club of MASSY and finale male removed by a good team of ARGENTEUIL. The club of BORDEAUX failed created the surprise and tried to imitate the club hearing of BORDEAUX champion of League 1 but had to content itself with the 3rd well deserved place(square). The traditional delivery of cups and medals in front of a public numerous and fair took place then.
